American Family Children's Hospital (Phase Two)

Newly constructed 38,500 square-foot medical facility addition in Madison, Wisconsin. The addition will serve as a surgical floor and will feature six operating rooms, two specialty procedure rooms, and numerous preoperative preparation areas.

Fire Protection Installations: 

  • Wet sprinkler system
  • Converting 376 upright sprinkler heads to pendent heads that drop through the ceiling

HVAC Installations:

  • Two 28,000-cfm custom air handling units 
  • Utilized Ahern’s sheet metal shop to prefabricate 84,000 pounds of ductwork
