401(k) Program
One of the best in the industry, with a 50% match of the employee's first $5,000 in contributions.

Employee Referral Program
A bonus payment between $1,000 - $2,000 is paid for a successful hire referred by an employee

Employee Incentive Fund
Rewards performance and overall Company profitability. More than 40% of Ahern's profits are returned to employees. 

Profit Sharing
Ahern has an excellent history of profitability, and believes in sharing monetary gains with employees. Profit Sharing is a discretionary percentage of your annual salary and is based on overall Company performance. Over the past five years, profit sharing has been consistently generous: 2004 – 5.5%; 2005 – 6.8%; 2006 – 4.5%, 2007 – 5.1%; 2008 – 6.6%.

529 Collegebound Fund
This program is available to all eligible office employees as a way for parents or grandparents to be able to provide the benefits of higher education to their children or grandchildren. 

Financial Planning
Free financial planning is offered as an extension to J. F. Ahern Co.’s 401(k) services.
