School to Work
Ahern is a proud partner of the School to Work program, available through the Fond du Lac Association of Commerce. We encourage students to participate in the program by working in office settings in various Ahern departments, including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Corporate Services. For safety reasons, students under the age of 18 are not allowed to work in shop or field positions. School Visits
Ahern employees regularly travel to local high schools to talk about career opportunities. The company has students complete a simulated on-line application and conducts mock interviews, which are designed to help students develop the skills they will need after high school.
