Ahern to Protect Gavilon Headquarters

Ahern was recently selected by The Opus Group to design and install fire protection systems for Gavilon's new Omaha world headquarters. Their new 233,342 square-foot facility includes three floors of office space that sit atop a two-story parking structure. Ahern provided alternative fire protection system options for the electrical and computer rooms that will be both cost effective and code compliant. Dry systems will protect the parking structure, with standard wet systems in the remaining office space. Ahern is utilizing 3D design coordination with the other trades on site to eliminate system interferences and streamline the project. On-site work will begin in mid-April, with completion slated for December.
