Van Thiel Promoted to Supervisor of Technology Services
Ken Lamb, J. F. Ahern Co. Director of Information Technology, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Ryan Van Thiel to Supervisor of Technology Services. In his new role, Van Thiel will supervise the Company's network engineers; direct the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and documentation of LAN/WAN networks; and manage mid to large-sized infrastructure projects.
Van Thiel joined the Company in 2002 as a software support specialist, and has served as network engineer since 2005. He is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management Information Systems. Van Thiel is certified as a Cisco Certified Network Associate, a VMware Certified Professional, a VMware Certified Professional on VI3, and a Certified Novell Administrator.
"Ryan has made numerous contributions to the Department and Company," said Lamb. "He continues to grow professionally and take on new challenges, while remaining customer-focused.
