J. F. Ahern Co. Volunteers for "Project Heat's On"
Three of J. F. Ahern Co.'s HVAC Service Technicians recently donated their time and Company resources to participate in 'Project Heat's On', an annual volunteer program that provides home heating inspections to disabled and/or senior citizen homeowners. Having recently expanded its mechanical service operations to include a local Fox Valley presence, the Company participated in the event through its Appleton office as a means of giving back to the community it serves. The 16th annual event took place in Brown and Outagamie counties, and was organized by the Mechanical Contractors Association of North Central Wisconsin and Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 400, of which Ahern is a member.
Ahern's volunteers included Technicians Tom Danoski, Dan Eckert, and Kirk Rademaker. "Project Heat's On is a very good program, and offers an excellent opportunity to help those less fortunate," said Rademaker. "Our crews were able to perform inspections at a total of seven houses and ensure the furnaces were working properly before the winter weather arrives." BACK TO NEWS
