J. F. Ahern Co. Achieves 1 Million Man Hours without Lost-Time Injury
J. F. Ahern Co. recently achieved the coveted goal of one million man hours worked without a lost-time injury. This major milestone comes on the heels of an impressive 2008 safety record, which included national recognition from national industry associations such as the Associated General Contractors (AGC), as well as local groups in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.
"With over 1,000 employees working in field, shop, and office positions across the Midwest, the 'million man hour' achievement is only possible through a company-wide commitment to safe work practices," said Safety Director Mike Schultz.
