HVAC, Pipe Fabrication & Plumbing Retrofits for Wastewater Plants in the Appleton Area

Ahern’s experience with temporary facilities and underground sewer work was key to its on-time completion of the Grand Chute Wastewater Treatment Plant’s renovation and addition. This Grand Chute, Wisconsin plant upgrade required very deep underground work near several existing buildings. The plant also incorporated newer technologies to improve its operations, including ATAD [Autothermal Thermophilic Aerobic Digestion] and IFAS [Integrated Fixed-film Activated Sludge] systems. Ahern brought a team of 15 field members to the job, utilized its in-house prefabrication shop to preassembly over 250 pipe spools, and coordinated closely with our safety personnel to complete the job with no lost-time incidents.
