Ahern brought its own ‘artists’ to the St. Louis Art Museum’s 200,000 square-foot addition project. Our design and field team brought 9 years of trade experience, while our project management team averaged over 12 years of experience. This was instrumental in blending our installations with the building’s architecture. Working with a European architect nearly one year before installations began, our design included exacting sprinkler head placement to hide the fire protection system within the museum’s aesthetics without compromising code requirements.
- 100% of Ahern’s team held industry licenses or certifications
- Installation tolerances of (+/-) ¼” were met without rework
- All designs were approved on the first submission
- Despite 23 outside initiated change orders, Ahern met the original project deadline
