Riverside Energy Center

Riverside Energy Center is a 600 megawatt natural gas fired power plant in Beloit, Wisconsin. Meeting the 12-month construction schedule was critical to begin production of marketable energy. With an average of 86 employees on site during construction, Ahern completed its work on time and within 1.1% of our original estimate. This on-time completion came despite being issued 350 design changes. Our team’s labor coordination, 3D design capabilities, and prefabrication of 2,200 pipe spools came together for a successful execution.
