Tri-North Builders Newly constructed 55,500 square-foot office headquarters in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. This facility achieved a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) NC-2.1 Gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
HVAC Installations:
- Several hundred feet of finned tube radiation in soffits 30 feet above the floor to keep the facilities' three clearstory atriums from condensing
- Two air handling units with humidification and MERV-13 final filters
- 80 VAV (variable air volume) boxes
- Carbon dioxide sensors in conference rooms and other densely occupied areas
- One 120-ton water-cooled chiller with an indoor 120-ton cooling tower
- VRTX chemical-free water treatment system
- Two one million BTU high-efficiency boilers
- Radiant in-floor heating
- Commissioning and balancing of the entire HVAC system
