Even though Leah started her career at Ahern as an intern, she never felt that way. She was always considered part of the team. It wasn’t the compensation, benefits, or the location that made Leah chose Ahern – it was the prospect of mentorship. She has a great sense of direction with her career path and is pleased with the growth she is experiencing now. She has mentors who are invested in her career and that is something that gives Leah confidence.
In Leah’s words, “So far, my experience has been very good. I think that it would be difficult to find an entry-level job that could provide a comparable amount of experience in under a year’s time. Ahern gave me the opportunity to immediately dive into working on complex projects.”
