Toy Drive in Madison

Before the New Year, several offices took part in giving back to their local community through donations or drives.

1. The Madison office hosted a toy drive to benefit the American Family Children's Hospital. Four crates of toys were delivered to the hospital for which the staff was very thankful. (pictured above)

2. The Fond du Lac office had a Penny War challenge to raise money for the Solutions Center. As a Company, a total of $320.23 was donated. The Fond du Lac office and shops also had a little friendly competition when hosting a hygiene drive for the Salvation Army. 928 items were donated all together.

3. The Appleton office brought holiday cheer to 3 teens from the local Boys & Girls Club by collecting funds and purchasing gifts for them.

4. Ahern's Northwest office had a successful year of fundraising for their annual Christmas is for Children event. They sponsored two families in the local area, raising a total of $512.00 cash and purchasing many donated items off of the families' wish lists.

5. Ahern's Milwaukee office committed to 60 tags for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County's Giving Tree. United Way matched Ahern with a nonprofit agency most in need in the area, the Spring City Corner Clubhouse.

6. The AFP Offices for Des Moines, Omaha, St. Louis, Twin Cities, and Quad Cities held a food drive. The goal was to have the teams collect food items and then donate during the holiday season to a local charity. As a group, a total of 2,481 lbs of food was collected.
