When Arita started down the fire protection industry path more than 20 years ago, she was unsure where it would lead. She took the leap of faith with the hope of making a career for herself. It paid off and has led her through a series of promotions from an administrative position to a senior leadership role.
Arita began her career as an Office Manager at Ahern's Madison location, which gave her a variety of exposure to the business. She led an administrative team and cultivated a deep sense of belonging amongst her employees. She was quickly promoted to Fire Protection Operations Manager, General Manager, and now Regional General Manager, overseeing Ahern’s Des Moines, Omaha and Quad Cities offices. Through the years, Arita has taken advantage of mentorship opportunities and Ahern’s personal development trainings.
“I continue to value and appreciate my mentors and their willingness to share knowledge and counsel along the way, as they have been a vital part of my success at Ahern,” Arita said.
