As Chief Financial Officer of J. F. Ahern Co., Adam is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s Accounting, Information Technology, Service Support, Supply Chain, and Fleet and Logistics departments.
Adam earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting in 2008 and his Master of Professional Accountancy degree in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He became a licensed CPA in the State of Wisconsin in 2010.
Adam joined Ahern in 2011 as an Accounting Manager and has held many positions of increased responsibility as his career developed at Ahern. He was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2013, Controller in 2014, and Chief Financial Officer in 2015. As a result of Adam’s success, he became a member of the Management Committee and a shareholder of the Company in 2016.
Adam is an active member of Financial Executives International (FEI) and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He is also currently a member of the Wisconsin Institute of CPA’s (WICPA) and the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA).
Adam is active in local community service; currently serving as a board member for Marian University. Adam also serves as a board member for the UW-Fond du Lac Legacy Foundation.
