Before Wes came to Ahern as a Safety Business Partner, he was a superintendent for a general contractor. Eighteen years of field experience means he has always understood the importance of safety on the job. Wes felt passionate about moving into a safety role to make a larger difference in the lives of field and shop employees – and he knew Ahern was the place to do that.
“When I was in the field working with Ahern, I knew everyone had a safety mindset,” Wes said. “The culture of safety at Ahern really drew me in, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Safety truly is the number one priority here.”
