There’s no limit to what you can do while working for Ahern. Project Manager Rachel is the perfect example of that. Rachel’s journey with Ahern began in 2016 as a fire protection designer. She made a significant impact and was a top performer in design, but she wanted to try something new.
Rachel then transitioned to estimating and found the role intriguing; still, she wanted even more involvement in every aspect of the project lifecycle. She worked with Ahern to find the perfect fit and is happy to say she’s now in her dream role.
Rachel is now a Construction Sales Project Manager responsible for acquiring work and effectively overseeing projects throughout their entire lifecycle. She actively participates in all project phases; it’s gratifying for Rachel to see a project go from a drawing on paper to a full-fledged working system.
Rachel credits Ahern’s culture and the challenge of the job for her continued career at Ahern. “I really appreciate how the company is always trying to be the best, and I enjoy the people I work with,” Rachel said. “What’s cool is that every job is different, so you are constantly learning and getting to see new things.”
