PEORIA, IL, January 28, 2025 — J. F. Ahern Co., a fire protection and life safety contractor, has recently expanded into the new market of Peoria, IL. With 145 years of experience, Ahern has the knowledge and background to deliver exceptional fire protection services. As a General Manager, Bill Beckett leads and oversees the Quad Cities office, as well as the Central Illinois area. He is responsible for the business unit's annual business planning, overseeing financials, directing contract sales and estimating, managing shop operations, safety and development of office and field employees. Bill has held multiple positions at Ahern during his 27-year career including a Sprinkler Fitter, Sprinkler Superintendent, and in 2020 he accepted the position of General Manager.

Projects performed in the Peoria and Central Illinois area include multiple underground repairs and new installations at Carus Industries in Pekin, IL, multi- family dwellings and assisted living facilities, industrial plant installations with Carus and multiple ADM facilities and inspections and emergency repairs at numerous facilities.
