Ahern was recently named the sixth largest specialty contractor on Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine’s list of Top Specialty Contracting Firms in the Midwest. The company also ranked in the following categories: first in the state of Wisconsin, first in sheet metal, second in plumbing, and fourth in mechanical.

Chairman and CEO Tripp Ahern attributes the company’s success to the overall economy. “We see a lot of people in different vertical markets continuing to make significant investment in their facilities in areas such as health care, food and beverage, data centers, and various manufacturing facilities,” he says. “In spite of COVID-19, and in spite of escalating material prices, people continue to build new facilities and invest in current facilities.”
