Thursday, April 22nd, 2021: Ahern has been named the winner of the Wisconsin Safety Council’s 2020 Corporate Safety Award in the large construction group.
The Company won in Category C3: Construction, which includes companies with more than 1 million employee hours. This is the fifth time since the Wisconsin Safety Council has given the award that Ahern has earned this prestigious recognition.
“We believe safety success is due to our organizational willingness to openly and honestly communicate with each other and our external stakeholders,” said Dustin Rusch, Chief Safety Officer. “We fought through 2020. When everything changed, we pushed forward (like a lot of organizations). Our people continued to serve our customers, and when the pandemic derailed our plans, we adapted together and navigated the uncertainty.”
