Fire Sprinkler Emergency Shutdowns
Do you or someone on your staff know how to shut down your fire sprinkler system in an emergency situation? All too often, the answer to this question is no; yet, this knowledge could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars in cleanup and repairs should a sprinkler deploy outside of a fire emergency.
Fire sprinklers have a long protective service life and are very reliable. However, at times, a sprinkler can deploy unexpectedly – perhaps due to an incidental strike from a ladder or forklift. In these non-fire emergencies, a trained individual can quickly shutdown the sprinkler system before substantial damage is incurred.
Ahern offers free training on system shutdowns, along with a step-by-step DVD explaining the process. Please contact us if you’d like to schedule an on-site training session or receive a copy of our shutdown DVD.
