Each year, Engineering News-Record (ENR) surveys specialty trade contractors, ranking the Top 600 across the nation by revenue and listing the top firms both in specific trades and in the industry in general. Ahern has long been included in these lists, and this year is no exception.

This year, Ahern ranked 78th out of 600 overall and also ranked 3rd in the Top 20 Firms in Fire Protection and Sprinklers, 10th in the Top 20 Firms in Sheet Metal, and 40th in the Top 50 Firms in Mechanical.
