Fond du Lac, WI – After 35 years of hard work and dedication, Faye Twohig has retired from Ahern. Faye started at Ahern as an admin for the Fire Protection division.

Balken Named Des Moines General Manager

Ahern announces the promotion of Arita Balken to General Manager for their Fire Protection Division in Des Moines, Iowa.

J. F. Ahern Co. is excited to welcome Sam Karoblis as a Regional Service Department Manager.

J. F. Ahern Co. recently hired Jacob Kosloske as a new sales representative in the Pipe Fabrication division. Jacob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Rasmussen College. He worked as a Business Account Executive at U.S.

Ahern’s Northwest mechanical service technicians including Nick Shill, Ben Dittner, Ron Starr, Mark McInnis, and Mike Isaacson participated in Local 434’s annual Heat's On.

J. F. Ahern Co. is happy to announce the addition of Chris Simpson as a Fire Alarm, Fire Equipment and Special Hazards System Sales/Project Manager and Blake Jordan as Field Engineer for installation, inspection, and service of the Fire Alarm and Special Hazard product offerings.

Fond du Lac, WI – J. F. Ahern Co. recently received a BUILD Wisconsin Award from the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin (AGC). The company won in the specialty contractor category for the mechanical work performed on the Arrowhead Research Facility located in Madison, WI.

Throughout the year, Ahern representatives attend a number of college career fairs across the Midwest. Below is a list of schools scheduled from September through November.

UW Madison Engineering Career Fair

J. F. Ahern Co., a leader in mechanical, fire protection and fabrication, has launched a new website with expanded capabilities, simplified navigation, and valuable content for general contractors, building owners, and facility managers.

On July 7th, 2017 a two-car head-on collision seriously injured three people. Inside one of the vehicles, a woman was trapped as a fire started. Several bystanders took action and grabbed fire extinguishers from their vehicles to put the fire out while waiting for emergency personnel to arrive.
