Wisconsin Firefighters Recognize Ahern

In October, Ahern was awarded the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation’s corporate responsibility award. This award recognizes a company or organization that has gone above and beyond to help the Fire Fighters’ Foundation work towards its mission of championing support for burn survivors, firefighters, and safe communities statewide.

Ahern was nominated for its commitment to educating and training fire inspectors, firefighters, and others on topics such as inspection, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and extinguishers. Van Fitch, Matt Merckx, and Travis Whitney, from Ahern’s Northeast office, who accepted the award, were praised for their willingness to arrange and assist with the periodic trainings.\
