Ahern is reaping the benefits of “going green” in their 52,000 square-foot Milwaukee office. The solar hot water and green water systems have allowed the building to cut its domestic water consumption by more than 85%. The building has been named the Association of Facility Engineers Project of the Year and The Business Journal Commercial Project of the Year, as well as earning a Mayor’s Design Award and an AGC Build Wisconsin Award.
