Commercial HVAC, Fire Protection & Fabrication Services for Student Housing in Southwest Wisconsin

With students arriving in the fall, a tight schedule was set in place to finish this new student residence and dining facility at UW-Platteville in Wisconsin. Ahern’s experience with design/build completion in tight deadlines is what awarded Ahern HVAC work in the 170,000 square-foot facility. To speed up the process, Ahern used internal BIM modeling and prefabrication services for the piping and duct work, totaling 1,700 pounds of sheet metal and 24 pipe spools. Ahern’s quick turnaround allowed this new structure to open on time for the school year.
