Ahern met the June 2016 deadline to complete the plumbing and fire protection installations at an abandoned facility turned dormitory in Milwaukee, WI. Ahern was to renovate the 251,600 square foot abandoned building into new student housing and commercial space. Ahern's ability to meet strict deadlines, as well as the Company's prefabrication capabilities helped the project finish on time with zero lost-time injuries. Ahern prefabricated and installed 54 balance valve assemblies, 128 shower valves, 2 carrier groups/water meter assembly, and 2,648 sprinkler heads.
