Ahern installed a wet pipe sprinkler system in the 22,483 square-foot CRCC (Children’s Respite Care Center) healthcare facility in Omaha, NE. Originally, the architect didn’t approve of an area of exposed pipe that was indicated in the shop drawing submittals. Ahern’s team worked with the general contractor to come up with a solution to conceal the pipe above the curved drywall ceiling and the resolution pleased the client. Ahern met all the general contractor’s schedule dates to meet the final occupancy date.
