Fire Protection Services for Colleges & Universities in the Des Moines Area

Ahern’s work on the Des Moines Area Community College posed an unusual challenge for the fire protection installation project. The 64,500 square-foot building was 40 degrees off center compared to the steel ceiling structure. On-site coordination issues arose between trades, but Ahern held an additional scheduling meeting to resolve the problem and the client was pleased with the resolution. Ahern’s prefabrication shop was utilized to produce the 665 sprinkler heads installed on the project.
