Fire Protection Installation Services for Schools in the Omaha Area

While the kids were at play, Ahern spent summer break at Harvey Oaks Elementary in Omaha, NE, installing a sprinkler system in the 38,598 square-foot educational facility. The experience of Ahern’s field crew benefitted the retrofit project substantially due to the knowledge of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) pipe used in the installation, as well as the sprinkler layout. This experience was also important in resolving the number of wire lines coming in contact with the system. Ahern’s team went in on a number of occasions to organize the wires, which was completed to the customer’s satisfaction. Ahern also kept the project well-staffed and put extra fitters on-site when needed, ultimately leading to on-time completion. With all the major work completed ahead of the final deadline, this made room for finishes and clean up in time for school to begin in the fall.
