Fire Protection, Commercial HVAC & Plumbing Services for Office Buildings in the Fond du Lac Area
The Kohler Global Communications building for the first time merges all Kohler-based corporate communications associates from four different locations, under one roof. The 80,000 square-foot facility, located in Kohler, Wisconsin, was unique to Ahern because most of the installations within the facility were exposed to view and the building included a photo-shoot space. The building was built with a focus on energy saving, resulting in a gold-level LEED certification. Ahern's prefabrication shops were utilized to fabricate 50,000 pounds of ductwork, 5,700 linear feet of HVAC pipe, 2,870 linear feet of underground plumbing, 5,300 linear feet of above ground plumbing, and sprinkler heads. The beautiful, environmentally-friendly building has only strengthened Ahern’s ability and reputation.
