Energysaving

Landmark Oaks is a five-story Class A office building located in Madison, Wisconsin. The building is over 110,000 square feet and includes an underground parking structure. For this project, Ahern performed the HVAC, controls, and fire protection. The project started as a core/shell with two floors of build out being added (1st & 3rd floor) later in the schedule. Even with the two floors of build out being added, the move in date remained the same. Continued planning and open communication among the team were keys to keeping the project on-track. Key installations included (2) 110-ton roof top units, (2) boilers, and heating hot water piping. All pumps and fans received variable frequency drives, resulting in energy savings. Ahern received a BUILD Wisconsin Award from the AGC of WI for this project.
