Ahern designed and installed the wet pipe sprinkler system at Longhorn Steakhouse, located in Greendale, Wisconsin. Ahern's food and beverage knowledge and ability to prefabricate the sprinkler heads allowed the team to begin installation at the 6,275 square-foot restaurant early before it became overcrowded with other trades. Ahern's prefabrication shop fabricated 151 sprinkler heads, totaling 1,100 linear feet of pipe. Ahern met and exceeded the on-site superintendent's expectations regarding schedule, professionalism, and project closeout.
