Fire Protection Retrofit Installations for Factories & Warehouses in the Omaha Area

Ahern met its client’s deadline and effectively coordinated its work to prevent disruption to Major Plastics’ nearly 24-hour operating cycle. The owners of this 80,000 square-foot warehouse and plastic injection molding facility in Omaha, Nebraska turned to Ahern to upgrade its fire protection from a dry-pipe system to a wet-pipe ESFR [early suppression fast response] system. Working around the building occupants and existing equipment required daily coordination between our crews and the client’s management team. With a very tight schedule, Ahern committed two crews to work simultaneously in different areas to install nearly 10,000 feet of piping and 1000 sprinkler heads. Not only was the project completed on-time, but also within budget.
