Building Controls Retrofitting Services for Hospitals in the Milwaukee Area

Ahern's building controls expertise was showcased during a retrofit project in the Southpointe Medical Office Building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The project included the retrofit of 2 Roof Top Units (RTU's), a surgery smoke control system, and 53 Variable Air Volume (VAV) controllers. The entire building was occupied, so all work had to be performed around existing tenants or on off-hours where possible. All equipment had to keep running for surgery rooms on the lower level.
