Time was of the essence for this fire protection project in Fort Calhoun, NE. To help speed up the schedule, Ahern prefabricated 100 sprinkler heads utilizing its fabrication shop to complete the 9,750 square-foot retail building. Ahern’s team altered the “normal” labor schedule to accommodate this project, and to meet the strict deadline. As the prime contractor, Ahern’s team was first on-site, leading to no coordination issues. In the end, the project was completed on-time and met the owner’s goals.
