Fire Protection Retrofit Installations for Historic Buildings in the Milwaukee Area

A total of 505 sprinkler heads were prefabricated for Ahern’s fire protection work on the Wgetthta Building in Milwaukee, WI. The building originally served as a setting for students and staff to pursue their studies during the Concordia College years. Today the building will house the Forest County Potawatomi Executive Council, Foundation, Gaming Commission, Tribal Court, and Legal Department. All office and staff employees involved with this retrofit project were industry certified. Ahern’s extensive retrofit experience allowed for this project to be completed both safely and on time. This project received a 2017 Cream of the Cream City Award for Historic Preservation.
